ZenithOptimedia names new China leadership

ZenithOptimedia China has tweaked its leadership team, with Mykim Chikli taking on the role of CEO for ZenithOptimedia China.Steven Chang, current Greater China CEO, will take on a newly created role of president and will focus on partnerships, business development and external communications. Steve King, worldwide CEO of the Publicis agency said Chang’s new role will enable him to focus on his greatest interests and provide support to client relationships, new business and communications. “He is a fantastic communicator and in our business this is a crucial role to be driven from the top,” King said.Currently COO, Chikli has spent more than two years with ZenithOptimedia China after a six year stint as MD of ZenithOptimedia France and CEO of Performics France with close to 200 staff. “Mykim’s focus, drive and relentless energy is a huge asset to ZenithOptimedia. In her new role she will drive ZenithOptimedia China to ever further success,” King added.Additionally Janice Foo, chief talent and transformation officer at VivaKi Greater China, has been promoted to take on an added new role of chief talent officer Asia Pacific for ZenithOptimedia, based in Shanghai.Chikli, Chang and Foo will all report to Andras Vigh, VivaKi and ZenithOptimedia Greater China chairman.
