Virtual bank ZA Bank launches new brand campaign, physical card

ZA Bank wants to change the game.

At least, that's the theme of its latest brand campaign — "Be the game changer" â€” designed to entice locals into experiencing all that Hong Kong's first virtual bank has to offer. Challenging elements commonly accepted as normal in banking, such as 9-to-6 servicing or 0.001% savings interest rates, ZA Bank aims to provide Hongkongers with a more imaginative alternative for what a bank can do and be for its users.

"ZA Bank offers 24/7 banking services for our users, highlighted by market-leading offers including zero account balance requirement and 1% savings rate," said Rockson Hsu CEO of ZA Bank. "While others may talk big, we choose to walk big by introducing Hong Kong’s first-ever 30-minute pledge for personal loan applications."

Stepping from the virtual into the physical world, ZA Bank has also introduced its own personalised ZA Card, a Visa debit card with no annual fees, interests, or late charges. To encourage use of the card, ZA Bank has created a lucky draw. For each eligible spend of HK$10 and up, users will have the chance to immediately win up to a 200% cash rebate, immediately credited to the users account.

"Monthly and daily rebates may be ‘normal’, but we understand that instant rebates can ensure a better experience for users. Hence, we are dedicated to being a ‘game changer’ and offering instant cash rebates that users can enjoy every time they spend," added Hsu.
