Felix Kjellberg (pictured), famously known as PewDiePie has reached 80 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. Several media outlets reported that this marks as the first time any YouTuber had surpassed the figure. The vlogger was also involved in a feud with India's video channel, T-Series, as both channels competed to be YouTube's most subscribed. In October last year, Kjellberg released a diss track towards T-Series. The music video has garnered over 94 million views since its upload. The feud between the two has been ongoing for months. PewDiePie's fans took it upon themselves to support the vlogger, rolling out a campaign and went to the extent of hijacking printers and Google Chromecasts to promote his channel. According to social media analytics report by SocialBlade,  PewDiePie’s subscriber gains exploded in the months following the T-Series video. PewDiePie went from gaining more than 855,000 subscribers in the month before the video to securing nearly 2.2 million new subscribers in the month after. Last month alone, PewDiePie’s channel grew by more than 6.2 million subscribers. In 2017, Disney’s Maker Studios dropped PewDiePie after he posted several videos with anti-Semitic messages. Shortly after, Google removed his channel from the premium advertising service. However, the YouTube star first got into trouble in 2016. Pewdiepie was suspended on Twitter for making a joke about joining ISIS.
