Peter Haarmark, co-founder and CEO of Ydigital Asia has exited the agency, six years after he established it in 2014. Headquartered in Indonesia, Ydigital has offices in Jakarta, Kuala Lumpur, and Singapore. The agency offers digital transformation, marketing automation, technology and CRM solutions for clients as well as in managing digital marketing services.
Prior to launching Ydigital Asia in Indonesia, Haarmark was based in Denmark and was the co-founder of online platform and mobile app I DO MOVE. I DO MOVE aims to motivate people to live an active lifestyle. According to his LinkedIn, he was with the company for three years and attained over 80,000 organic mobile app downloads and established global strategic partnerships. Haarmark also helmed project manager roles and lead marketer positions in his previous jobs.
Yudha Adi Marsongko (pictured below) will now take on the role of CEO at Ydigital Asia. Marsongko first joined the agency as head of performance marketing in 2014, and last helmed the role of chief operations officer. He will be managing the whole group and the Indonesia operations. This comes as managing director Fredrik Johansson has also left the agency. Johansson joined Ydigital in January 2015, and led the advisory practice in his early days.
Last April, the agency won digital duties for Danone’s two water brands, AQUA and VIT. Aqua's marketing manager Jeffri Ricardo said then that Ydigital was chosen amongst other competing agencies for its "more business-driven digital approach". Ydigital Asia also previously worked with Mattel Indonesia. The agency was in charge of digital and covered social media strategy and management, content creation, media planning and buying, as well as seasonal tactical campaigns. Some of the other clients that Ydigital has worked with include Ebay, Microsoft, Grab, Burger King and Under Armour.
Haarmark has regularly been featured in Marketing Interactive's analysis pieces. Most recently, he shared 2020 plans for the agency and spoke about the overall agency landscape in Indonesia.
