Independent media agency Yango has appointed Amy Carr as general manager of growth, a newly created role focused on accelerating new business and raising the agency’s profile in market.
Carr joins from Foundation Australia, part of the Omnicom network, where she was head of client collaboration and group business director, leading the Diageo account. She brings more than 15 years of experience in media and agency leadership, having held senior roles at PHD and Publicis Groupe across clients including PepsiCo, Google, Daikin, Kenvue and Bayer.
Her appointment follows a period of sustained growth for Yango, which has recently expanded into SEO, content, creator strategy and cross-channel planning as part of its broader full-service offering.
“I’m delighted to introduce Amy as our new general manager of growth,” Nick Murdoch, managing partner at Yango, said. “Amy is a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the Australian media landscape. Her client-centric approach and ability to build strong relationships will be instrumental in uncovering new business opportunities and fostering long-lasting partnerships with our clients.”
Carr said she was excited to help amplify Yango’s offering: “I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Yango. As a business that has been quietly delivering exceptional results for its clients, I’m eager to introduce Yango’s innovative solutions to a wider audience.”
Yango’s client roster includes BYD, CBHS Health, Frasers Property Industrial, Toby’s Estate, Actor Pharma, Amber Tiles and Scape Student Living.
