Yahoo Hong Kong unveils the year's top searches

The end of year round-ups are arriving, giving us deeper insight into the topics that mattered in 2020. Up next, Yahoo Hong Kong has released its list of the year's top searches. As expected, COVID-19 related keywords dominated the list.
Yahoo Hong Kong's research was divided into nine categories with different topics, namely current affairs, people who passed away, and international news. Among Hongkongers' top 10 searches, six of them are related to the pandemic, including masks, the government's employment support scheme, COVID-19, prohibition on group gathering, suspension of face-to-face classes, and confirmed COVID-19 clusters.
