Xiaomi has appointed Across Asia Communications (AAC) as its PR agency for the Hong Kong consumer market.
The agreement makes AAC responsible for all of Xiaomi’s sizable marketing and product promotions in the region.
Damon Kwok, co-founder of Across Asia Communications, said: “We are thrilled to partner with Xiaomi. The appointment is a strong testimonial to our expertise and understanding of the Hong Kong market. We shall make good use of our experiences across consumer, technology and corporate communications to serve Xiaomi and its growing business in Hong Kong.”
Though Xiaomi began as a China-based electronics brand is now a global presence as the world’s fourth-largest smartphone brand. The company has also established what it claims to be the world’s largest consumer Internet of Things (IoT) platform, with more than 150.9 million smart devices (excluding smartphones and laptops) connected to it.
