Snapask – (DSE Countdown)
To stand out from the clutter of billboards in Causeway Bay, Snapask required a dynamic and distinctive campaign creative to continuously engage a total of over six million monthly pedestrians at XGD Media’s LFR@Causeway Bay billboard.
To realise Snapask’s creative strategy, XGD Media proposed a “DSE Countdown” creative that would automatically create new content on a daily basis, showing the number of days remaining until the DSE Examination Day. The countdown successfully created a sense of time urgency for students and parents to immediately work hard to achieve great examination results.
Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc – (New Year Countdown)
Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc aimed to accelerate brand awareness during the Christmas and New Year festivities. To achieve Kronenbourg 1664 Blanc’s objectives, XGD Media coded a fully automated special-purpose built-in programme that would not only automatically alternate between different client’s creatives but also display a New Year’s countdown timer (programmed to the world clock to ensure millisecond accuracy). To amplify the campaign’s impact, XGD Media included a static solid sticker extension, successfully increasing the original billboard size by over 200%.

Social Media Connectivity: Hong Kong Tourism Board
In this campaign, XGD Media utilised an innovative feature by livestreaming user-generated content (UGC) shared on @discoverhong social media to their billboard. This live social media feature available exclusively at XGD Media is designed to simultaneously increase brand awareness and increase audience engagement. The result was a deeply engaging campaign that successfully increased engagement via the #discoverhongkong hashtag and simultaneously displayed Hong Kong Tourism Board’s promotional content.
Online to Offline Connectivity: Net-a-Porter
The first of its kind, XGD Media and Net-a-Porter created a fully automated billboard connected directly to the Net-a-Porter eCommerce store. The result was a campaign creative that displayed items being purchased on the eCommerce store in real time across the globe. In addition, Net-a-Porter combined eye-catching visuals and music to continuously engage the most sought-after consumers in Hong Kong at XGD Media’s 26W@Central billboard.
