WPP Brand & Design unveils new APAC leadership structure

WPP Brand & Design has reinforced its regional leadership across Asia-Pacific with a slate of senior appointments under Lulu Raghavan, APAC president of WPP Brand & Design.

The newly formed collective unites the network’s specialist agencies - including Landor, Design Bridge and Partners, amp, ManvsMachine, Coley Porter Bell, BDG, CBA Design, and DeepLocal - into a cohesive unit. This structure aims to help clients build multi-sensorial brands capable of thriving in Asia-Pacific’s rapidly accelerating, AI-driven marketplace while preserving each agency's unique culture and creative strengths.

By integrating brand consulting, identity, sonic branding, motion, experience, and governance - backed by shared data and WPP’s Open Intelligence platform - the unified model offers regional clients a single point of entry to the group’s full spectrum of capabilities.

"Brand has once again, quite rightly, become a core business driver and a chief focus for leading organisations," said Jane Geraghty, global CEO, WPP Brand & Design and Landor. "Our new model harmonises data-driven technology and consulting with our world-class creative craft. By pairing analytical insights that prove the commercial value of brand investments with design that resonates on an emotional and human level, we can build powerful brand systems that stimulate growth, move people, and ultimately shape consumer behaviour."

By focusing on growth, seamless delivery, and integration, the new WPP Brand & Design APAC team will ensure clients experience faster, more measurable business impact across the Asia-Pacific region.

New APAC leadership

The appointments include Alexandra (Alex) Cerruti (pictured second right), executive vice president, APAC at Design Bridge and Partners, who will take the helm in Singapore as executive vice president, Southeast Asia, WPP Brand & Design. Cerruti joined Design Bridge in Singapore in 2013, delivering consistent year-on-year business growth. In her new role, she will be responsible for driving Southeast Asia’s commercial success and building high-performing, collaborative team cultures across the group.

In Hong Kong, Danley Stone (pictured far left), managing director, Hong Kong at Design Bridge and Partners, has been named managing director, Hong Kong, WPP Brand & Design. Stone brings nearly 15 years of experience in Asia, having lived in both Singapore and Hong Kong, partnering with leading clients including HSBC, Lazada, HKEX, Prudential, CapitaLand, and Trust Bank.

Tasked with piloting the WPP brand and design collective’s new chapter in Hong Kong, Stone will continue to accelerate business growth and elevate creative excellence for the group’s premier clients. Meanwhile, Peggy Hon, general manager of Landor Hong Kong has departed.

Nikki Lin (pictured far right), managing director, China at Design Bridge and Partners, steps into the managing director, China, WPP Brand & Design role. Having led the fast-growing Shanghai studio since 2020, Lin was the driving force behind Design Bridge and Partners’ commercial development in the country. In her new role, Lin will focus on driving WPP Brand & Design's growth in mainland China, helping both domestic giants and multinational brands innovate and scale within the country's rapidly evolving, technology-driven market.

Meanwhile, responsible for expansion across the region is Ben Gordon (pictured second left), who takes on the role of EVP growth, APAC, WPP Brand & Design. Gordon, who previously served as chief growth officer, Asia, for Design Bridge and Partners, has a long history with the agency. Having formerly held the roles of managing director in Hong Kong and Asia CEO from 2018 to 2022, he will now be responsible for driving growth across the WPP brand and design portfolio.

Geraghty added: "I am thrilled to welcome them into these vital leadership roles within WPP Brand & Design. By bringing together the formidable strengths of our design and branding agencies, we are creating a powerhouse offering in the region. This team’s combined expertise, local market knowledge, and passion for brand transformation are exactly what our clients need to navigate rapidly evolving, yet very different, marketplaces from Greater China to India to Australia - especially as we pioneer the integration of AI and agentic technologies to redefine how brands connect with those diverse audiences."

RaghavenAPAC president, WPP Brand & Design, said: "These roles are a testament to the incredible depth of leadership talent we have within our network. Cerruti, Stone, Lin and Gordon have all demonstrated an exceptional track record of driving commercial success at Design Bridge and Partners, fostering a culture of creative excellence, and building deep partnerships with the region’s leading brands. Now, within the WPP brand and design collective, I have absolute confidence that they will help to unlock brilliant new opportunities for our clients and our people across APAC, and I can’t wait to start working with them more closely."
