Wotif Group has appointed M&C Saatchi to work with the Australian online travel site Wotif.com. The win comes following a pitch with several other agencies.
The teams at M&C Saatchi and Wotif have been collaborating for several months on a campaign to support the Wotif brand.
Wotif Group is yet to reveal further details about the creative direction, planned initiatives or the size of the account. However, Marketing understands that this is the first time the online travel site has appointed an agency and there is no incumbent for the account.
Currently no time frame has been slated for the contract and the partnership is said to be ongoing.
Wotif Group’s general manager Michael Betteridge (pictured) said: “For some months now our teams have been jointly collaborating to explore how M&C Saatchi’s big, bold and brave ideas could further strengthen our iconic Wotif.com brand.”
The Wotif win comes in the midst of a new business spree from M&C Saatchi that includes appointment to IAG insurances brands NRMA, SGIOI and SGIC and Cricket Australia.
