Moda Pacifica, the exclusive distributor of Brazilian flip flop brand Havaianas in Singapore and Malaysia, has appointed Word of Mouth as their public relations agency.
The agency will be responsible to help build media relationship, generate publicity, handle the launch of upcoming new collections, such as the World Cup collection, provide strategic sponsorship counsel, and embark on a seeding program, for the next six months.
According to Word of Mouth’s managing director, Jansen Siak, Moda Pacifica will largely be banking on its public relations agency for its media strategy for now. The company has no intentions to launch any advertising efforts as of yet.
The brand will launch its new ‘teams’ collection in May this year, in conjunction with the World Cup. The new series will feature various designs to represent different countries.
Previously, the PR duties for Havaianas was handled by Cazbaa.
