Wipro Unza Malaysia calls for creative pitch
share on
Wipro Unza, the personal care company behind some of Malaysia’s best-known FMCG brands, has opened a creative pitch as it seeks a new strategic advertising partner for a two-year engagement.
The selected agency will be tasked with driving the strategic and creative direction of five key brands: Carrie Junior, Dashing, Enchanteur, Romano and Scentify. The open pitch reflects Wipro Unza’s ambition to work with a creative partner that can deliver both bold ideas and swift execution across its brand portfolio.

In a call for fresh thinking, the company is emphasising its commitment to fully local creative development. “All works are original and created locally. We do not adapt regional or global materials,” the company stated in its announcement. This approach offers agencies the opportunity to collaborate closely with Wipro Unza’s teams from product ideation through to campaign execution.
Wipro Unza is seeking an agency that blends strong strategic planning with high-quality creative output. The ideal partner should also demonstrate agility and speed in execution, in line with the fast-paced nature of the personal care FMCG sector. A collaborative mindset and a deep understanding of the Malaysian consumer landscape are also key requirements.
Agencies interested in participating must express their interest by emailing Jessie Lian (jessie.lian@wipro-unza.com) with their agency name and a brief introduction by 5:00 PM on Tuesday, 1 July 2025. Shortlisted agencies will be notified by Thursday, 10 July, and will be provided with detailed briefing documents.
According to checks by A+M, the incumbent creative agencies were Ogilvy Malaysia and McCann Erickson Malaysia. Currently, Wipro Unza Malaysia is partnered up with PHD Media for its media and digital remits. It is also currently working with MBCS Ensemble for the creative remits of its other brands, such as Safi and Aiken.
Last year, Wipro Unza Malaysia appointed Ogilvy Malaysia to handle the integrated marketing solutions for the core range of Carrie Junior products and to strengthen the brand as a household name across the country. The account also includes brands such as Eversoft and Scentify, and the contract commenced on 1 April 2024 spanning two years.
Earlier this year, Wipro Unza's fragrance brand Enchanteur, together with its fabric and car freshener brand Scentify, launched a joint Raya campaign, titled “Raya ini, kucing bukan bintang utama” (‘Your cat is not the star this Raya’). The campaign led by Ogilvy Malaysia, leverages the festive spirit of Raya to highlight how the brands’ fragrances and fresheners can enhance the atmosphere, particularly in cat-loving households.
Central to the campaign was a brand film that empowers Malaysians to reclaim their space and their scent - ensuring that the fragrance of their home leaves a lasting, positive impression and creates a welcoming, confident atmosphere for Raya celebrations that is free from the worry of unwelcome pet odours.
