WE Communications has elevated current Singapore managing director Jeremy Seow (pictured), to CEO of the Singapore operations. He moved into the role of MD in 2017, previously from Zeno Group. Reporting to Matthew Lackie, executive vice president, WE-APAC, Seow was tasked to strengthen WE’s current roster of clients, and ensure that the agency’s client-facing capabilities reflect the needs of brands in motion. Some of its clients include Aruba, Elsevier, F5 Networks, GSK, Honeywell, J&J, Lenovo, Roche, RSA and Shire. As part of its leadership restructure, effective 1 April 2019, current Australia managing director Gemma Hudson (pictured left) will also helm the role of CEO of Australia. This also sees Rebecca Wilson (pictured right), current CEO of WE Buchan, expand her remit to oversee Australia and Singapore as executive vice president, Australia and Singapore. Both Hudson and Seow will report to Wilson. Meanwhile, Penny Burgess (pictured bottom left), CEO of WE Red Bridge, will oversee WE’s Greater China presence in Beijing, Hong Kong and Shanghai, supported by Nicky Wang, head of strategy, WE Red Bridge, whose role will expand to cover Greater China. Kevin Hartnett (pictured bottom right), current head of strategy, Hong Kong, will assume oversight of WE Hong Kong’s office as general manager, Hong Kong reporting to Burgess. This follows the decision of Anne Geronimi, current APAC brands lead and managing director, Hong Kong, to pursue other opportunities. The changes are in a bid to increase cross-region and cross-agency collaboration within its Asia Pacific business. [gallery size="medium" link="file" ids="252983,252984"] “WE Asia Pacific businesses have had years of strong growth in both scale and client portfolio. To maintain this momentum, the expanded remits of our leaders will enable us to better serve our clients by delivering a consistent, seamless, high-quality experience for clients in the region and around the globe," Kass Sells, global COO and president of international said. These promotions come shortly after the company expanded the remits of Wilson, Burgess, Nitin Mantri (Group CEO, AvianWE) and Simon Pangrazio (managing partner, WATATAWA) to the newly-formed global leadership team. These four will be working closely with Melissa Waggener Zorkin, global CEO; global COO Sells; and Dawn Beauparlant, chief client officer and president of North America, to deliver "greater impact" for multi-market clients.
