We Are Social Hong Kong has promoted its senior strategist Chesta Siu (pictured) to the role of head of social, reporting to Kathy Wong, general manager of Metta/We Are Social Hong Kong.
In her elevated role as head of social, Siu will command the strategic direction and execution across all social media projects and key accounts. She will be a driving force behind pioneering initiatives to significantly enhance the agency's capabilities, ensuring Metta/We Are Social Hong Kong not only remains at the cutting edge of industry trends but actively defines them.
Her leadership extends beyond social, as she will continue to spearhead transformative strategies for a diverse portfolio of projects, further strengthening the agency's position within integrated marketing offerings.
Siu brings over a decade of hands-on experience across social, web, PR, and integrated agencies, making her a seasoned expert in the digital marketing landscape.
Siu first joined We Are Social in 2023 as senior strategies. Prior to that, she had helmed senior positions across various agencies such as Rise Creation, GreenTomato and CMRS Group Hong Kong.
Wong said: “Chesta has been an indispensable force within our collective success. Her unique blend of strategic foresight and creative brilliance has profoundly amplified our overall marketing brilliance, showcasing the critical role of social in our integrated offerings.”
Siu: “As head of social at Metta/We Are Social Hong Kong, my mission is to fuse cultural insights with data-driven strategy - building campaigns that spark real, lasting impressions in Hong Kong’s ever-evolving digital scene. By empowering a cross-functional team that’s data-aware, culturally intelligent, and creatively fearless, we transform social from a channel into a true engine for our clients’ growth and authentic connections. Every move we make is about measurable impact and future-ready relevance."
