As the rest of Malaysia snooze into the New Year, Nestlé was bustling to serve the many blue collar workers that keep the nation moving with cups of coffee.
In conjunction with its #StartwithNESCAFÉ twitter engagement campaign, the coffee brand placed several teams to visit hospitals, police stations, bus stations and wet markets throughout the Klang Valley, Pahang, Penang, Perak and Sarawak, offering coffees from 5 am to 10 am.

Sherif Hani, business executive manager – beverage, Nestlé said that the company wanted to recognise the efforts of these unassuming individuals who help move things along for the rest of us every start of the day in their own way.
“These cups of coffee are but a small gesture to help them start their first day of 2014 and our way of showing them that we appreciate them.”
A documented video of the gesture was also posted on the company Facebook and YouTube platforms.
