Waggener appoints new GM

The ex-client services director and regional corporate practice at Waggenger Edstrom is promoted to China general manager. Antoine Calendrier (pictured) will monitor the mainland’s operations as well as provide senior client counsel while still heading up the regional corporate practice.

With expertise in services, technology, FMCG, automotive, food and beverages and defense, he has taken on clients like Visa, Jetstar, Jebsen and Osram on top of advising high-profile political leaders and C-suite executives.

Prior to joining Waggener Edstrom, Calendrier was head of corporate communications with Hennessy globally; he had also led EuroRSCG’s corporate and crisis communications department.

“Antoine’s proven Greater China experience and global understanding of the communications industry will help drive our business in China forward,” said Matthew Lackie, Waggener Edstrom's senior vice president of Asia Pacific.
