VMAN forays into SEA with first-ever foreign edition

Global men's fashion magazine VMAN is launching its first foreign edition, VMAN SEA, in Southeast Asia. 

Set to launch in September this year, VMAN SEA aims to cater to the sophisticated and style-conscious men, as well as men's fashion lovers in the market. It will be released on a biannual basis. 

VMAN SEA comes in the form of a strategic partnership between Philippines publishing company One Mega Group, Inc (OMGI) and VMAN. Through this partnership, both parties promises to deliver a publication that is able to curate global menswear trends while incorporating local flavour and insights.

"Partnering with VMAN is a testament to One Mega Group’s commitment to put the spotlight on men's fashion and lifestyle" said Ramon Galicia, publisher of VMAN SEA and COO of One Mega Group.

"We are confident that VMAN SEA will captivate and inspire the modern Southeast Asian man with its sophisticated content and unparalleled style," he added. 

OMGI is a subsidiary of AGC Power Holdings Corp, a media company in Philippines which houses other international media brands such as Vogue Philippines, Billboard Philippines, Rolling Stones Philippines and NYLON Manila. 

"We are excited to bring VMAN to Southeast Asia and to collaborate with One Mega Group, a partner that shares our vision for excellence and innovation in publishing. This launch signifies our mission to reach new audiences and provide them with the global content that VMAN is renowned for," said Stephen Gan, VMAN editor-in-chief and creative director. 

The maiden issue of VMAN SEA will feature exclusive interviews with prominent figures in fashion, entertainment and sports. It will also include fashion spreads showcasing the latest trends from international and regional brands and designers. 

On top of that, readers can look forward to fashion editorials, in-depth interviews with industry icons and coverage of pop cultural news of the region, including musical acts of Manila's nightlight, the underground style scene in Bangkok and fashion week shows in Singapore. 

VMAN SEA is not the only new edition on the block. Earlier in May this year, luxury lifestyle publication Lifestyle Asia expanded its horizons with its seventh publication, Lifestyle Asia Malaysia.

Lifestyle Asia Malaysia will be curated and presented entirely in Bahasa. It will cover topics ranging from style, beauty, dining and culture.

In addition, it seeks to synergise culture with design and an approach that resonates with the young, aspirational and ambitious demographic. 

The publication will complement the existing English edition, Lifestyle Asia Kuala Lumpur.
