VCCP Singapore appoints Jerone Larson to lead new B2B offering

VCCP Singapore has appointed Jerone Larson as its B2B lead of its newly-launched business offering, VCCP Business. In this newly-created role, Larson (pictured) will lead VCCP’s strategic, creative and delivery requirements for its global, regional and local B2B clients. She is also tasked to integrate the expertise of the VCCP partnership agencies such as StratAgile (digital production, data and marketing automation), Corporate Citizenship (sustainability consultancy) and Good Relations (public relations and internal communications) into a seamless end-to-end business offering. VCCP Singapore currently has a headcount of 25 staff.

Prior to joining VCCP Singapore, Larson worked in New York where she gained experience across a range of B2B industries and brands, including government, tech, insurance, finance, energy and engineering. Most recently, she was at Doremus New York, Omnicom's B2B arm. At Doremus, she led and managed end-to-end global brand and demand generation campaigns for clients such as the Singapore EDB, Akamai Technologies, National Instruments and Shell, according to a press statement.

Larson said: “VCCP Singapore had the talent and capabilities required to service even the most challenging business needs, so I'm very excited to mould and galvanise these components into a robust, industry-leading B2B offering. The team is strong, innovative and growing at pace, and I look forward to our bright future ahead.”

Craig Mapleston, VCCP Singapore’s regional director, added: “For too long, business communications have been the poor cousin of consumer communications. With our end-to-end offering and leadership from Larson, VCCP is looking forward to challenging the conventions within B2B and creating broader value for our clients and their customers,"

VCCP Business has over 150 staff in eight offices across APAC. Led from London, the business offering was set up as VCCP saw a growing demand for B2B specialty services amongst its clients globally.

In a statement to MARKETING-INTERACTIVE, Joshua Robertson, CMO of APAC at VCCP, said that based on its research conducted across B2B CMOs, the agency found that 80% of CMO's want to improve their customer experience, and their customers are demanding the same. Therefore, it has been the agency's plan for over six months to introduce VCCP Business in Singapore, and bring D2C customer experiences into the B2B world.

"VCCP Singapore is where B2B strategy, martech and planning meet D2C creativity, to create epic B2B experiences in an experience driven-economy," Robertson said. He added that VCCP Singapore's mission is to be its clients' partner and help to "fully integrate their brand across the breadth of their business".

"We understand brand reputation is just as important as brand awareness, so we apply a holistic approach to solving our clients’ greatest challenges, from shaping brand perception to improving the bottom line," he said.
