URBAN REVIVO debuts in HK as part of global expansion strategy

Fashion Momentum Group (FMG), a Chinese fast-fashion retailer, has launched its regional headquarters and first outlet in Hong Kong for its URBAN REVIVO brand. The new store, located at Harbour City, joins over 400 UR stores worldwide as the brand continues to shape its global fashion footprint, marking another strategic leap in UR’s global expansion after its US and Europe entry earlier this year.
Supported by Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK), the expansion seeks to oversee the group's corporate treasury function, retail business and global markets expansion.
Occupying 813 square metres, UR’s first store in Hong Kong offers a curated selection of nearly 1000 products. The store features a dazzling LED-lit façade and a stunning floral art installation inspired by the Bauhinia flower, the emblem of Hong Kong. The root of the flower resembles a Möbius strip, symbolising UR’s infinite vitality in Hong Kong’s fashion landscape.
On the grand opening day on 17 May, the iconic UR blue-dominated Tsim Sha Tsui transformed the city’s vibrant downtown into an alluring showcase of fashion excellence. Local fashion icons, including YouTuber and author J Lou, sassy athletes Lydia Sham and Philip Chan, actor Kyle Lee and actress Yammi Lam also added their magnetic charisma to UR’s unique fashion experience.

“Hong Kong boasts great economic strengths and top-notch spending power. This makes it essential for UR to enter the market,” said Vivian Chen (pictured middle), CEO of international business, URBAN REVIVO. “Hong Kong’s fashion landscape is a dynamic fusion of East and West, reflecting its status as a global fashion hub that perfectly blends Chinese and Western cultures. We’re excited to join this vibrant and diverse community and leverage our distinct brand identity to inspire local fashion enthusiasts.”
Chen said that the group started to work with InvestHK on the launch since last year, and was introduced to various international brands and merchandisers, giving it the confidence to establish a presence in the city. Hong Kong offers a diverse customer profile, an open and friendly business environment with zero tariffs, and effective infrastructure. "The city serves as a bridge between the mainland and the global market. It's an ideal place for our global expansion," said Chen.
"Hong Kong, as a key hub for international fashion exchanges with a vibrant professional services sector, enables us the further internationalisation of our global operations. We are looking forward to accelerating our growth into both developed and high-potential markets," she added.
Hong Kong is known to be Asia’s finance hub and an intersection of Eastern and Western cultures. Entering the Hong Kong market will be an important strategic leap for UR to not only expand its business and influence in Asia but elevate the brand’s position in the global fashion landscape as well.
“Following the successful launches of our new stores in New York and London earlier this year, the Hong Kong debut marks another major step in further consolidating our success in Asia and beyond,” said Leo Li, CEO and founder of UR. “Looking ahead, we have ambitious plans to expand into other global fashion capitals as well, including opening a first Tokyo store later this year.”
Arnold Lau, acting director-general of investment promotion, InvestHK, said: "Hong Kong as an international business hub and financial centre has solidified its reputation as a leading global hub for supply chain management. Brands such as URBAN REVIVO can leverage Hong Kong's strategic location and extensive international resources to expand their international retail networks efficiently. We wish URBAN REVIVO every success in Hong Kong and beyond."
The Hong Kong new store underscores UR’s commitment to growing its global footprint. With over 400 stores across Asia, Europe and North America, the brand continues to emerge as a major player in the global fashion industry. In the next five years, UR aims to expand its overseas stores to 200, establishing a presence in all major Asian cities while continuing to grow in Europe, America, and beyond.
