The Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) has appointed Carbon Interactive as its agency to develop and implement a digital marketing plan for Singapore’s Public Space Programme.
The creative agency will support URA’s “Our Favourite Place” initiative to enliven public spaces in Singapore with a forecasted digital marketing strategy, social media management and on-ground campaign activation. URA aims to achieve ground-breaking community interest and activation in the co-ownership of shared spaces; pushing the creative boundaries of what it means to live, work and play in the Lion City.
“Our Favourite Place” (previously known as “PubliCity”) seeks to foster the creation of shared memories through the funding of projects initiated by the community for the community. Some past projects include Chairs in Squares, Play Space, KamPONG, Play It Forward, and Streets for People.
The pitch for the project involved eight agencies, including GroupM, IPG Mediabrands, KRDS and IH Singapore.
“We are excited to be able to undertake this project in using digital marketing to help crowdsource and curate great ideas from the local community to make effective use of Singapore’s space creatively.” said Jeffrey Lim, general manager of Carbon Interactive.
