UPS marketer Sahil Jaggi takes on MD role for Singapore and Malaysia

Sahil Jaggi, UPS's director of marketing for the products and industry segments in Asia Pacific, has been appointed MD for Singapore and Malaysia. Jaggi (pictured) is responsible for charting the strategic direction of the business and driving customer growth and retention in UPS Singapore and Malaysia. UPS said Jaggi's experience in marketing places him in "a strong position" to capture new opportunities from Singapore and Malaysia to expand UPS’s footprint.
He took on the role of director of marketing for the products and industry segments in Asia Pacific in September 2017. In that role, UPS said he helped boost the company's competitiveness through the deployment of new products such as UPS Worldwide Economy and My Choice, as well as enhanced existing products, and substantially improving UPS’s industry intelligence.
Before that, he was senior manager, international marketing for more than two years, according to his LinkedIn. Based in Atlanta, he was responsible for developing global marketing initiatives. Jaggi also helmed the roles of manager, North Asia district marketing and retail and luxury goods segment manager.
According to Jaggi, Singapore and Malaysia are key logistics nodes in the Asian and global supply chains. "We have seen Singaporean and Malaysian businesses demonstrate tremendous resiliency this past year. We are committed to fully support these businesses adapt to shifting trade dynamics and the new normal, and help them maintain a competitive edge as they ride out the global pandemic," he added.
