Unilever names new president of SEA

Unilever has appointed Pier Luigi Sigismondi as president of Unilever Southeast Asia and Australasia (SEAA).Sigismondi (pictured) will take over immediately from Peter Ter Kulve, who is moving to a new role.Sigismondi will be based in Singapore. Prior to this role, Sigismondi was chief supply chain officer for Unilever where he was accountable for Unilever’s end-to-end value chain and created one of the best supply chains in the FMCG industry.Paul Polman, chief executive of Unilever, said: “I am extremely pleased to announce the appointment of Sigismondi to this role. His experience in business strategy and supply chain will undoubtedly be an asset to the dynamic SEAA region.”
