UM Singapore has appointed Russell Lai to the senior business director position. Lai was last regional planning director for LVMH.
In his new role, Lai will be overseeing the agency’s business development, building competencies including social and digital, programmatic and search, as well as leading the teams to bring UM clients cutting edge media solutions in their efforts for brand building.
Lai has worked with known and noted brands such as Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy Group, Health Promotion Board, Singapore Air Force, Hewlett Packard, Standard Chartered Bank and Resorts World in a regional capacity.
Pat Lim, managing director of IPG Mediabrands, Singapore said: “Lai is one of the rare talents in the media industry whose maturity, experience across a multitude of disciplines and leadership capabilities make him a feather in Medibrands’ cap. His appointment follows a strong growth the agency group has seen starting this year off by winning Reckitt Benkiser and National Environment Agency.”
He reports to Lim and is based in Singapore.
