UBS Padel Central is now open at AIA Vitality Park, introducing a premier harbourfront destination dedicated to the rapidly growing sport of padel. Set against the backdrop of Victoria Harbour, this inaugural hub is the first of its scale in the city, offering a unique blend of sport, style, and social connection.
While padel boasts over 30 million players across 130 countries, it remains a novel sport in Hong Kong. UBS Padel Central aims to cultivate local interest by providing a highly engaging social experience that brings the community together through sport and shared moments.
From now until 16 November 2025, visitors can enjoy open court play, friendly tournaments, and curated lifestyle activities, presented by UBS and produced by The Great Entertainment Group and GBME.
Furthermore, the experience extends beyond the court with an elevated food and beverage offering, featuring a full-service bar with cocktails—including non-alcoholic options from ONLY Beverages—and specialty coffee from the local favourite, FINEPRINT.
“We are thrilled to introduce Padel to Hong Kong. As a bank rooted in this city for over 60 years, this initiative reflects UBS’s commitment to community well-being and to bringing meaningful experiences to Hong Kong,” said Amy Lo, chairman, UBS Global Wealth Management Asia, head and chief executive, UBS Hong Kong
“Padel Central is our response to clients and the public’s growing desire for a balanced lifestyle, blending financial expertise with wellness and personal fulfilment. Through this new sporty experience, we hope it will spark new connections and energy across the city,” Lo added.
“With over 30 million players across more than 130 countries, Padel boasts a global following, yet remains relatively new in Hong Kong, offering a unique opportunity to spark interest among a fresh and curious local community. We have designed Padel Central to be an incredibly rewarding social experience, bringing people together through sport, shared moments, and a new way to enjoy the harbourfront. We’re excited to welcome the city to play, connect, and be part of something fresh and dynamic,” Michael Denmark, executive chairman, Great Entertainment Group.

Separately, the trend of brands embracing sport continues as adidas debuts "adi Pickleball Fest" in partnership with local creative agency We Glow. The activation brings America's fastest-growing court sport to the heart of the city.
Set against Victoria Harbour at K11 MUSEA’s Sculpture Park, the fest aims to transform curiosity into community. Through an open-air court and a phased programme, it serves as the anchor for adiClub Days, a special celebration held by adidas twice a year to reward members of its free membership programme, adiClub.
