TradeGecko, an inventory and multi-channel management platform, has appointed Jaime Ng as vice president of marketing.
As a key member of TradeGecko’s executive team, Ng will lead global marketing initiatives while continuing to build the company’s brand as it moves into new countries and verticals.
Ng joins TradeGecko as it gears up for several corporate milestones. In May, the company will be opening a new office in Toronto and is establishing its presence in Melbourne, Australia to expand into the beer, wine and spirits vertical.
Ng is no stranger to both the startup and tech scenes with more than 15 years of experience leading teams for some of the world’s most successful technology companies. Prior to joining TradeGecko, she spent half her career working out of the US with TripAdvisor and MySpace.
Most recently she was director of market development at PurpleClick Media where she led campaigns for Facebook, Google and Yahoo. Prior to that, she was global head of online proposition for element14, the producer of the highly popular Raspberry Pi computer.
“Ng brings extensive experience driving business growth through strong digital marketing that will enable us to support our plans to open new offices in the North America and Australia,” Cameron Priest, CEO and co-founder said. ”We are excited to have her onboard and leading our global marketing function.”
