TNG Digital picks Zeno Malaysia as PR agency

TNG Digital, a joint-venture between Touch ‘n Go and Ant Financial, has appointed Zeno Malaysia for public relations and social media duties. This follows a pitch in June 2018 involving four agencies.The appointment is for an initial six-month period, where Zeno will lead the development of the overall communications direction and strategy of TNG Digital’s public relations and social media programmes in its quest to launch and lead the cashless revolution through the Touch ‘n Go App, its e-wallet service here in Malaysia.Amelia Lim, head of brand, PR and communications at TNG Digital said Zeno understood its business objectives and personality as a brand. "In an ever-evolving landscape, our story is unique – we’re not just providing an e-wallet service, but we are helping to shape the future of the cashless ecosystem in Malaysia for years to come," Lim said.“Our focus has been on cut-through storytelling that transcends the traditional marketing lines. Rather, we believe that consumers need to hear a compelling and simple story that helps them also believe in our cashless future. As an agency, this represents an amazing brief and an important opportunity to make real, society-changing impact through our work," David Lian, managing director of Zeno Malaysia, said.
