Swiss coffee machine maker JURA has appointed full-service digital agency The Pistol to manage its Australian media, as the brand looks to strengthen its national market share.
The Pistol will oversee paid media across search, social, programmatic and out-of-home channels, as well as project-based creative work. The agency will also support JURA’s trade and retail partnerships.
JURA Australia managing director George Liakatos said the appointment was part of a broader growth strategy to expand the brand’s local footprint.
“We really wanted a digital marketing partner with a deep understanding of data, strategy and insights and how they can be used to drive growth and revenue,” Liakatos said. “The Pistol team immediately impressed us with their ability to understand the customer journey and the importance of brand positioning in market.”
The Pistol CEO Jamie Nosworthy (pictured) said the collaboration reflects a shared ambition to build JURA’s brand presence while driving business outcomes.
“Now more than ever, brands have a strong awareness of the need to leverage measurement and insights to inform their digital marketing,” Nosworthy said. “We want to work with brands that are invested in providing a great customer journey and using connected commerce to offer a seamless path to purchase.”
The Pistol’s remit covers the full paid media mix, along with strategic and creative input. The agency’s client roster also includes DECJUBA, Vitasoy, Mars Petcare, Prime Super and Bosch eBikes.
The appointment is effective immediately.
