The Park Lane Hong Kong, Autograph Collection, has launched a collaborative campaign with local designer brand SPARKLE by KAREN CHAN, combining fashion, travel, and local culture.

The partnership aligns with the hotel's ongoing initiative to support homegrown creative talent through dedicated exhibitions and events. The activation arrives as Hong Kong reinforces its position as a regional fashion capital, hosting a series of major industry events that have elevated local designers on the global stage.

SPARKLE by KAREN CHAN, recognised for its original textile designs inspired by Hong Kong's heritage, arts, and urban landscape, was selected to spearhead the visual direction.

Running until 4 October, the collaboration introduces a "Living in Fashion" theme across six guestrooms, transforming original fabric prints into immersive cultural narratives. The rooms feature specialised themed appliances developed in partnership with home appliance brand German Pool, including a custom capsule coffee machine, a smart kettle, and a travel tumbler.

In the "Glamourous red white blue premium room," the iconic red-white-blue nylon bag, a symbol of Hong Kong's everyday life and collective memories, is reimagined by SPARKLE. The brand's signature palette and houndstooth patterns transform this familiar motif into a bold expression of resilience and adaptability through striking visual artistry.

Meanwhile, in the "Lovely Yau Tsim Mong premium room," the print, created with the Hong Kong Museum of History, draws inspiration from the district to tell a Hong Kong urban story. It captures Yau Ma Tei's nostalgia, Mong Kok's energy, and Tsim Sha Tsui's round-the-clock vibrancy, with iconic elements such as the fruit market, neon signs, and pawnshops distilled into a contemporary pattern that blends old and new.

Further developing on Hong Kong's heritage, the "Grand opera premium room" features a print created with the Hong Kong Heritage Museum, inspired by Cantonese Opera treasures and legendary artists. Red-white-blue geometric lines form a playful backdrop, while neon hues trace opera silhouettes in motion, celebrating the art form as Hong Kong's first UNESCO-recognised intangible cultural heritage.

The partnership has also expanded to the culinary side, with The Park Lane Hong Kong subsidiary restaurant, Ebb & Flow, inviting guests on a nostalgic culinary journey with the new afternoon tea set, in partnership with SPARKLE. Directly inspired by the local designer brand's vibrant textiles and Hong Kong's rich cultural heritage, the menu pays homage to traditional local favorites and classic Chinese delicacies, elevated with modern culinary flair.

The savoury selection reimagines local favourites with premium ingredients, featuring Peking duck sandwich wrap, Hong Kong style fried shrimp balls, flaky barbecue pork buffs, and baked abalone mini tart. For the sweet finale, the pastry team mirrors SPARKLE's aesthetic while celebrating local flavours, with highlights including milk tea cream tart, raspberry chocolate cake, mango pomelo sago pudding, and salted egg yolk scone, a savoury-sweet twist on the classic afternoon tea.

To add a charitable dimension to the guest experience, The Park Lane Hong Kong will donate 80 one-night stays in the "Living in fashion" themed rooms, each paired with a "Hong Kong nostalgia" afternoon tea for two. Guests who donate HK$5,000 or more to the Sparkle Charity Foundation will receive one set of this experience, with funds supporting local community development. In addition, the hotel will contribute 10% of all afternoon tea proceeds directly to the foundation.
