The Hari Hong Kong, Japan's Kagoshima prefecture, and beverage distributor Mizunara Hong Kong have joined forces together to promote the culture of the prefecture with a limited-time offering.

Running throughout May, the seven-course tasting menu will be available at the hotel's Zoku Restaurant & Terrace and feature the region's top culinary delights.

Led by Shochu Meister Yoshie Kakimoto, the menu will include offerings such as a trio of Kagoshima Yellowtail featuring a combination of nigiri, sashimi and tartare paired with a shochu highball; Tobiuo “Flying Fish” ceviche paired with shochu mizuwari; and Kagoshima wagyu steak served with fresh wasabi, sudachi and a negi salad. A Mandarin sorbet dish will be on hand for dessert alongside a coffee shochu martini cocktail.

Priced at HK$888 per person for seven courses, customers can also add a Shochu pairing for an additional HK$388.
