Text100 sees senior management changes

Text100 has announced the advancements of its long-standing leaders, following the agency's decision to realign its APAC business under the sole leadership of regional director Anne Costello.

Yeow Mei Ling, former managing consultant for Malaysia and APAC sales and marketing lead, has been promoted to managing director for Greater China, taking over from Text100 Asia Pacific regional consultancy director Erica Pompen, who served as interim Greater China managing director.

Pompen will now oversee the agency's operation in Japan, in addition to her existing portfolio, while she continues to lead regional key accounts and driving client service and consultancy excellence across Text100's 11 wholly-owned APAC offices.

Yeow will continue to lead the sales and marketing efforts for Text100 in Asia Pacific with a team of dedicated resources across the region.

In effect, Min Chow (pictured) will take over Yeow's role as managing consultant for Text100 Malaysia, effective immediately. Both Min and Yeow will report to Costello.

Min joined Text100 as an account director in 2008 and assumed the role of deputy managing consultant in late 2011. In her new role, Min will continue to drive in integrated digital communications, nurture clients and manage the Malaysian team.

Concurrent with this are the promotions of Vicky Wong to account director and Chee Yih Yang to senior account director at Text100 Malaysia.

In their expanded roles, Wong will be leading staff development and retention initiatives, while Chee, who is also the Malaysia digital lead, will continue to drive Text100's efforts in the integrated and digital communications space.

"We're seeing a lot of changes in our industry as we evolve from traditional to integrated communications, and these consultants are people I trust to lead our transition across Asia Pacific, and with our regional and local clients," said Costello.
