Singapore-based digital transformation consultancy Temus has appointed Sutowo Wong (pictured) as its managing director, AI and data.

In his LinkedIn post, Wong said he is excited to bring his experience in building data foundations and scaling AI for public impact to Temus, a consultancy focused on helping organisations digitally transform.

In his new role, he will focus on scaling AI responsibly and practically to achieve real-world outcomes, building next-generation data platforms and capabilities that empower decision-makers across sectors, and growing teams while mentoring talent and shaping culture, highlighting that transformation is always more about people than technology.

Wong brings over a decade of experience in analytics, AI, and digital transformation across both public and private sectors. He most recently served as divisional director of health analytics at Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) from 2021 to 2025, following a stint as divisional director of analytics and information management at MOH from 2018 to 2021.

Earlier, he held roles including director of applied intelligence Southeast Asia at Accenture in 2016, deputy director of manpower planning and strategy at MOH, and deputy director in the health and information division and planning group at MOH.

Wong also led marketing analytics at OgilvyOne Worldwide and was director of analytics at Deloitte.

Founded to combine strategy, design, data, and technology, Temus supports both public and private sector organisations in driving purposeful digital transformation. Wong added that he looks forward to “learning, building, and growing together” with his new teammates.

Temus has also made additional leadership appointments to support its growth in the AI era. Vincent Tay joins as managing director and head of public sector, bringing nearly three decades of experience in IT consulting and digital transformation across government and healthcare.

Samuel Chong has been named managing director, insurance, with more than 20 years of leadership experience across insurance, fintech, healthtech, and digital transformation in the Asia Pacific.

The consultancy has further deepened its strategic partnerships to accelerate enterprise-grade AI adoption. Its collaboration with Resaro, both signatories of Singapore’s AI Verify Foundation, aims to embed trust into the AI development lifecycle. Temus provides strategic advisory on AI governance, while Resaro serves as an independent AI assurance provider, automating evaluations of AI solutions against business, governance, and technical standards.

In the insurance sector, Temus has teamed up with Peak3 to accelerate AI-driven innovation. Leveraging Peak3’s cloud-native platform supporting over two billion policies and more than 50 insurance partners globally, Temus aims to help insurers move beyond experimentation into enterprise-grade AI, enhancing efficiency, unlocking new business models, and delivering more tailored customer experiences.

Temus has also expanded its work with IMDA’s TechSkills Accelerator (TeSA) initiative and the AI Verify Foundation, strengthening Singapore’s AI workforce and promoting trustworthy AI adoption.

Temus joins a growing number of transformation-focused ventures in the region. Recently, former MediaCorp executive Parminder Singh launched ClayboxAI under Ecosystm Group, aiming to help business leaders gain fluency in AI and lead AI-driven innovation within their organisations.

The venture blends advisory services, technical expertise, and change management to position itself as a strategic partner for businesses beginning or accelerating their AI journeys.
