Temple Mall unveils "Blooming Bliss" for Chinese New Year

With Chinese New Year just around the corner, Temple Mall is ringing in the Year of the Ox with a special "Blooming Bliss" campaign, featuring a number of family friendly activities to delight young and old.

Making wishes for a prosperous year ahead is a popular activity around Chinese New Year, and Temple Mall, located just steps away from the Sik Sik Yuen Wong Tai Sin Temple, is putting its own unique twist on the festivities with a 4.6-metre-tall peach blossom wishing tree. From 29 January to 28 February, customers will be able to create their own virtual "wishing tag" that can be uploaded to the massive virtual screen on the canopy.

The tree is also flanked by a variety of floral "blessing pinwheels" — including a 1.5-metre-tall gold version designed by Lukfook Jewellery — that will spin as visitors walk by, wishing good luck and fortune for the year ahead.

In addition to the virtual wishing tree, Temple Mall's festive lucky draw will ensure that at least a few of those wishes do come true. Customers who spend $388 or more using electronic payment will receive Ling-ling Mak’s iconic annual fortune forecast, as well as an entry in the lucky draw for prizes that include a PlayStation 5, Apple iPhone 12, Samsung Galaxy Note 20, golden ornaments and cash vouchers. Customers who can bring lottery fortune-telling poetry printed by any of Hong Kong's temples can also receive an additional shot at the lucky draw.
