Telford Plaza and Maritime Square kick off CNY with international food fair
share on
As Chinese New Year approaches, venues throughout Hong Kong have rolled out decor and installations to ring in the holiday in style.
For this year's festivities, Kowloon Bay's Telford Plaza and Tsing Yi's Maritime Square have gone international — at a time when many of us wish we could do exactly that. With pandemic-related restrictions not letting up any time soon here in Hong Kong, it might just be the next best thing.
The malls' CNY Fair brings together foods, decor, and merchandise from around Asia, including Taiwanese pork balls, handmade nougats and fruit hampers flown in from Japan, and bird's nests from Singapore. From treats to seasonings to plenty of flowers, customers have a wide variety of options to choose from. Anime fans will also enjoy a selection of specialty gifts from Sumikko Gurashi, Crayon Shin-chan and even Snoopy.
CNY Fair will run from 22 January to 28 February.
