Learning from Abercrombie and Fitch, there’s perhaps no better marketing strategy than having good-looking people running through the streets in minimal clothing.
That’s what TCOB Media did for Prudential Hong Kong Beach 5s, an annual two-day beach tournament set to kick off next weekend.
The promotion video depicts young women and men stripping down to their swimwear in the cityscape in preparation for the event.
“We wanted the video to capture the spirit of what this event’s all about. It’s about people that live and work in Hong Kong getting down to the beach and enjoying the carnival atmosphere in the sun,” said Alex Brazendale, CEO of TCOB Media, who added that the making-of surely “turned some heads.”
“Commuters found themselves up against semi-naked players coming down escalators and in lifts. It was a lot of fun and that’s really what the event is all about. We’d encourage as many people as possible to come down and enjoy one of the best days out in Hong Kong.”
The event is organised by TCOB Media, with PR and media relations managed by brandRapport Hong Kong.
