Tan to head marketing for Club Med Malaysia

Club Med has appointed Steven Tan (pictured) as the new country sales and marketing manager for Club Med Malaysia, succeeding Edward Chin who assumed the position of country manager for Club Med Singapore.

Tan, 35, brings with him over a decade of experience in business management, sales and marketing sports and lifestyle brands, as well as product launches throughout Asia.

Commenting on the appointment, general manager of Club Med Malaysia Jimmie Ng said, “The key to Club Med’s success lies in its professional, international and talented teams. We believe that Steven has that energy, personality and creativity which embodies the unique spirit of Club Med’s culture.”

Tan holds a Master of Business Administration from Phoenix International University (PIU) and a Bachelor of Commerce (Management and Marketing) from Curtin University of Technology, Australia.
