Tai Lam Tunnel renews its annual contract with Cody Out of Home

Cody Out of Home has secured its annual contract renewal of the Tai Lam Tunnel outdoor advertising space and given handling it for another 12 months.

Cody handled the tunnel’s outdoor space consistently between 2001 and 2005, before losing the contract for a year and then regaining it the following cycle in 2006. Since then, Cody has had control of the space.

“Tai Tam Tunnel is a key asset of our trilogy of strategic tunnel billboard solutions. Together with the Western and Eastern Harbour Tunnels, we are able to offer advertisers a comprehensive coverage including the CBD, key luxury shopping and residential areas,” said Sammy Choi, managing director of Cody Out of Home.

The Tai Lam Tunnel has an average of 60,721 cars a day, according to the latest figures in 2017, provided by the Transport Department of the HKSAR government.

“The Tai Lam Tunnel provides advertisers with a unique opportunity to reach a mass audience from the rising affluence in the Northwest New Territories, as well as specific target groups from the Greater Bay Area. We are well placed to capitalise on the growth from the Northwest New Territories.”
