Sunway Lagoon Sdn Bhd has extended its relationship with five-year PR partner Go Communications for another year.
Sunway Lagoon’s chief executive officer, Aaron Soo (pictured right) said the partnership has been rewarding for the brand with the ROI exceeding expectations every year.
“There was no pitch for the re-signing. For five years, we had the same team, passion and creativity and the ROI exceeded all expectations.”
Sunway Lagoon notched its fourth consecutive Asia’s Best Attraction Award organised by the International Association of Amusement Park & Attractions. One of the highlights of the PR campaign was the 50th Anniversary of Merdeka Day with movie star Jackie Chan, an event in which 50,000 people were invited.
Peter de Kretser, GO Comm’s chief operating officer said their relationship with Sunway Lagoon showed how long term relationships could be established.
