Sunway Group's Yuen Chee Meng joins Gamuda Land as GM of branding and comms

Malaysian property developer Gamuda Land has appointed Yuen Chee Meng as GM of corporate branding and communications to protect, project and promote the brand. In his role, Yuen (pictured) will maintain brand integrity across Gamuda Land’s branding and communications initiatives including Gamuda Land’s townships’ branding. He reports to CEO Ngan Chee Meng.

Prior to this, Yuen served as Sunway Group's brand marketing and communications assistant general manager for branding. Before that, he was the senior manager for corporate marketing at Eco World. In a statement to A+M, Sunway Group's spokesperson said: "We would like to convey our thanks to Yuen. During his tenure of more than two years with Sunway, Yuen has contributed towards strengthening the Sunway brand through various successful local and international campaigns."

Among the list of projects under Gamuda Land include Horizon Hills, Kota Kemuning, Bandar Botanic, Jade Hills and Valencia. Its latest township includes Gamuda Cove in Southern Klang Valley, Gamuda Gardens and twentyfive.7. It also has overseas projects in Singapore, Vietnam and Australia.

In April this year, Gamuda Land tied up with Shopee to enable users to browse and purchase selected Gamuda Land properties through the app. Through this partnership, users can speak to Gamuda Land’s representatives though a live chat function for property information and terms and conditions of the promotion before making the decision to purchase.
