SPH Media is expanding its international publishing footprint through a licensing agreement with Indian publisher Ashrayu Media to launch Indian editions of F ZINE and The Peak.

The partnership will see the two titles enter India, with the move aimed at tapping into the country's growing youth, luxury and business lifestyle segments while extending SPH Media's editorial presence into one of the world's fastest-growing media markets.

According to the companies, the collaboration also seeks to bridge cultural and aesthetic connections between India and Southeast Asia by delivering editorial content tailored to Indian audiences.

F ZINE India will target the country's growing base of young, affluent readers with coverage spanning style, culture and social issues. Veteran lifestyle and entertainment journalist Tracy Ann has been appointed editor-in-chief of the publication, bringing experience across print and digital media in India.

Meanwhile, The Peak India will focus on leadership, entrepreneurship, luxury and wealth, with an editorial approach centred on purpose-driven storytelling and business insights.

The first issue of F ZINE India is scheduled for publication in the fourth quarter of 2026, with The Peak India set to launch shortly afterwards.

The companies said the launches come as India's luxury market continues to evolve, driven by a new generation of globally connected consumers seeking quality, authenticity and meaningful experiences. Both publications will feature original reporting, editorial features and curated storytelling designed to connect international perspectives with India's changing cultural, fashion, lifestyle and business landscape.

“We are excited to partner with Ashrayu Media to introduce The Peak and F ZINE into one of the world’s most dynamic markets. There is a clear appetite in India for the sophisticated, high-calibre lifestyle content that defines these brands from SPH Media. In Ashrayu Media, we have found a like-minded partner to engage India’s discerning modern audiences," said Toh Dasheng, head of lifestyle and OOH media, SPH Media.

In tandem, Sudhakar Adapa, chairman, Ashrayu Media, said, “This licensing agreement marks a defining chapter in Ashrayu Media’s expansion. India’s luxury and lifestyle sectors are experiencing unprecedented growth, making this the ideal moment to introduce these iconic brands to our readers. We are confident that F ZINE and The Peak will establish themselves as definitive voices for luxury, business, and culture in India.”

The latest move comes as SPH Media continues to expand and refresh its publishing portfolio across markets. Last year, the company merged The New Paper (TNP) and *Stomp) under a refreshed Stomp website designed to combine bold journalism with community-driven storytelling.

The platform, which launched on 30 October, introduced new features aimed at engaging younger audiences while retaining long-time readers. At the time, SPH Media said the merger formed part of its broader strategy to refresh its digital products and strengthen the relevance of its brands.
