SPH Magazines promotes Diana Lee to MD

SPH Magazines has appointed Diana Lee (pictured) as managing director, business solutions with effect from 1 March 2019. She was previously the general manager of SPH Magazines. She will report to Maureen Wee, who was elevated to take on the CEO role last month.In her new role, Lee will be tasked to drive the key revenue pillar of the business as she works with the editorial, marketing and digital teams to drive innovation in the creation of client solutions. Previously as general manager of SPH Magazines, Lee was said to have strengthened the core competencies for the sales and marketing teams.She has also been instrumental in steering the transformation journey of these teams, and building programs to drive digital and integrated sales across magazine networks. Prior to that, she was the assistant vice president, advertising and promotions under SPH's CATS classified. She also had stints in the sports industry, taking on managerial roles with Cosa Liebarman and Reebok Singapore.Reporting to Lee, the business solutions leadership team will consist of Angela Lok, head of wellness and medical and weddings, travel & entertainment sectors; Eileen Chia, publisher of Her World & The Finder, director, collaboration & partnerships; Gwendolyn Ho head, beauty sector and sales training & development and Irene Tan, group head of digital strategy, government and watches & jewellery sectors.The team also includes Pang Lee Cheng, general manager, motoring & transport, property and tech, communications, exhibitions & fairs sectors, Rachel Chin, head of fashion sector and special projects and Sean Chen, head of retail & education and home & FMCG Sectors.
