Sony Mobile looks for marketing activation agencies

Sony Mobile has called a pitch for marketing activation services across its Southeast Asia and Oceania operations.

Patrick Larraga, senior manager, marketing activation and PR, Sony Mobile, who is in charge of the pitch, told Marketing that this was the first time the brand was looking for a marketing activation agency. It is looking for marketing activation agencies with a strong background in promotions, events and retail, he added. Previously, this has been done by PR and media agencies.

The agency will take care of pan-region marketing campaigns on a regular basis, aligning this with wider global strategies of the company. The selected agency will be the regional liason for SEA and Oceania, working with the global team.

Sony Mobile’s key products are its smartphones, tablets and accessories.
