SMRT Media rebrands to Stellar Ace

SMRT Media has evolved its name to Stellar Ace in a bid to become advertisers’ go-to for creative ideas in reaching their target audience. Stellar Ace said its first order of business is to support Singapore’s economic pillar by strengthening the competitiveness and attractiveness of local businesses. MARKETING-INTERACTIVE has reached out to Stellar Ace for additional information.

For its government partners, Stellar Ace will continue to help reinforce their respective initiatives with precision and timely sharing of essential communications, using a combination of offline and online media. This will be done by leveraging on its media assets across Singapore, including train stations; shopping malls such as Parkway Parade, Paya Lebar Quarter Mall, Jem and the digital screens in the key Orchard belt; its fleet of buses, taxis and transformer trucks; and event spaces.

To complete the loop for offline and online touchpoints, Stellar Ace will tap on its loyalty app WINK+ and adtech platform Ace Biota. According to Stellar Ace, the second edition WINK+ from Home campaign in educating users of health guidelines and measures in the current phase two (heightened alert) will launch on 28 May. Meanwhile, some clients that are currently using Ace Biota include McDonald’s, Moomoo by FutuSG, Livinguard and Samsung.

At the same time, it has also named Daryl Chua as head of sales to oversee sales and partnerships to pivot and grow the business into the next milestone into the offline-to-online arena. He reports to VP Jeslyn Tan. Tan said it is confident that the team’s use of Stellar Ace’s enhanced media offerings and ad technology will continue to help marketers succeed in their campaigns.

“As we pair our media assets with data intelligence, we are dedicated to delivering more value per dollar spent, through unique combinations of our offline and online touchpoints. This is our commitment to our clients, especially as we navigate through these uncertain times,” she added.

Tan was promoted to her role last year and is tasked to expand Stellar Ace’s business by forging partnerships and collaborations with industry players both locally and internationally. She also focuses on growing digital engagement and innovation for OOH media, and lead the expansion of the digital WINK+ app business.
