Prudential Asto Masters (PAM) is celebrating its 20th anniversary. PAM 2017 is open to all golfers who are customers of Astro and its guests.
Its qualifying rounds will kick off at Tropicana Golf and Country Resort on 20 April, 2017. The rounds are also open to all affiliated Malaysian Golf Association clubs. A “live” scoring system will be implemented for the first time at qualifying rounds. This system utilises the internet to enable results to be generated within minutes after the round is completed.

As part of the 20th anniversary celebrations, the competition offers a prize, a Mazda 6 Skyactiv-D, which retails for over RM216,000, two return business class tickets on Oman Air to Muscat, Oman, with a special edition of PAM Titoni watch worth RM20,000, Bridgestone Golf Bag with full iron set, as well as a 65-inch Panasonic LED full HD TV as sure-to-win hole-in-one prize. Overall, prizes are worth over RM500,000 will be given out.
The National Final and Grand Final of PAM 2017 will have its highlights broadcasted on two channels, namely Astro Arena and Astro SuperSport 3 HD.
“Previously, we held the PAM Grand Finals in Cambodia, Thailand and Bali. For the first time, winners from the qualifying legs will be rewarded with a Grand Final outside Asia. They will get to play the Grand Final in Muscat, Oman, at the Muscat Hills Golf Club and the links-styled Al Mouj Golf Club. This 20th anniversary of PAM is also more rewarding, with all four offering prizes, a first for PAM,” said P Jeganathan, organising chairman of PAM.
