Siti Nurhaliza's beauty brand set to debut on Indonesian soil

Singer Siti Nurhaliza’s beauty brand Simplysiti has plans to enter the Indonesian cosmetics market by the first half of next year.This is according to a report by The Star which saw the beauty brand’s executive chairman, Datuk Seri Khalid Mohamed Jiwa confirming the move at a collaboration ceremony between Simplysiti and Airasia Big Duty Free in Sepang recently.According to Khalid, the company will leverage on Nurhaliza’s popularity in the nation, with outlets slated to open in main Indonesian cities such as Jakarta. There are currently talks with potential partners for the Indonesia venture.In a press statement to The Star, Khalid told the press that Nurhaliza is set to hold concerts in Indonesia next year in five to six cities, making it a good time for Simplysiti products to make its debut in the country.Simplysiti recently collaborated with Airasia's travel retail portal, Airasia Big Duty Free, to offer travellers two exclusive Airasia-Simplysiti co-branded products. Airasia Big Duty Free, Airasia’s travel retail portal, is collaborating with Simplysiti, a beauty brand in Malaysia, to offer the airline’s guests with two exclusive Airasia-Simplysiti co-branded products.
