Sinclair rebrands with new name and a new look

Sinclair Communications has undergone a major re-brand to update its brand identity as an established public relations, social media and experiential consultancy in the region, the agency announced.

Together with a new name, Sinclair, and a new logo (as pictured below), the agency said it will expand the sectors and industries they represent.

Other than their original focus in the lifestyle sectors of travel, hospitality and F&B, the agency now encompasses corporate and consumer communications. Its client portfolio includes international, regional and local brands across the B2B and consumer spaces, as well as government bodies.

The agency has also launched an arts and culture arm “Sinclair Arts”.

Furthermore, the agency said it will adopt an integrated PR approach to bring together brand strategy, media relations, social media, digital marketing and experiential PR, as well as offer digital marketing services with approaches like influencer marketing and multimedia content creation, so it would be “one step ahead of the latest online trends”.

Founder and managing director Kiri Sinclair, who described the new look and style as “a bit more mature”, said the expansion is in response to the exponential growth in demand for integrated public relations they are seeing from both Chinese brands and international brands operating in the region.

“We see a bright future for the PR industry in Greater China as the importance of brand building through communications continues to grow,” she explained.

“Our philosophy, grounded in a distinct collaborative approach to client partnerships, media relationships and supporting our community, has been shaped for the Asian business environment.”

The agency’s executive director Kevin Lam added, “Over the last eight years the PR industry has changed dramatically. Taking an omni-channel approach to communications is not just a trend, it is the only way of effectively reaching targeted audiences.”

He said that the new brand identity reflects the confident and brave approach the agency has always taken and will continue to bring to their work.

Sinclair is an independent agency that was founded by Kiri Sinclair in 2009 to offer Integrated PR to brands in Asia. It has now a team of over 35 staff who deliver integrated PR programmes across Asia, from offices in Hong Kong and Shanghai.
