Sim Lim Square goes digital with Shopee partnership

Shopee has partnered with Singapore’s Sim Lim Square to create an omnichannel retail experience, providing consumers with access to gadgets, electronics, and other IT peripherals both online and offline. This partnership aims to help traditionally offline retailers extend their reach to more consumers across the country.

Through this partnership, shoppers can now browse Sim Lim Square’s stores on Shopee and make purchases from the comfort of their homes. Shoppers can also choose to have their items delivered to their homes or any other preferred location or opt to pick up the goods from the offline retail store.

To mark the launch of the partnership, Sim Lim Square and Shopee have launched a campaign from 17 to 31 August, with special discounts, flash deals on best-selling items and exclusive giveaways from brand partners such as Acer, SonicGear, Avermedia, and Nvidia with their selected partners.

“Our partnership with Sim Lim Square marks our commitment to helping more offline retailers extend their reach through e-commerce. We are excited to have Sim Lim Square as a partner and will work closely with them to provide an improved overall retail experience for our users,” Zhou Junjie, chief commercial officer, Shopee said.

“We see tremendous opportunities in this collaboration and believe that our brick-and-mortar stores will be able to leverage Shopee’s user base, extensive operational support and other value-added services to grow their businesses through e-commerce,” said a Sim Lim Square spokesperson.
