Sharp Electronics Indonesia kicks off AQUOS campaign for World Cup 2018

Following the FIFA World Cup 2018 excitement, Sharp Electronics Indonesia has launched a new campaign which features a mix of shopping promotions and experiences including a soccer virtual game. Called the “AQUOS Big Goal” campaign, the campaign runs until 15 July 2018 and will see the brand partnering with 20 hyperstores and 15 national distributors, namely the Sharp Tomodachi Store.Through the campaign, Sharp Indonesia aims to encourage consumers to switch to bigger-sized TVs to enliven their World Cup 2018 experience. This is on top of highlighting its technology. The brand also believes the campaign will boost engagement among loyal consumers yet increase its LED TV sales for about 20%.It is also launching offline and online activities and executions. Offline initiatives include promotions which allow consumers to participate in a lucky dip to win vouchers with every purchase on LED TV 40 inch and above during weekdays. During the weekend, consumers are challenged by Sharp to partake in a virtual soccer game at Game Corner, exclusively for consumers who bought an LED TV 40 inch and above.The game also allow participating consumers to take home several prizes such as cashback IDR50,000 to vouchers worth IDR 300,000. Additional prizes are also available for consumers who have liked, shared, and posted this activity to Sharp Indonesia official Facebook, amongst others.The promotions are in lead up to Sharp’s World Cup final on 15 July, which will see the selection of lucky customers around Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi. In terms of online activity, the brand has also called for consumers to sign up through aquosgoal.sharp.id and try their chances to play a soccer game digitally and win vouchers.“The World Cup is best enjoyed together with friends and family on a bigger screen. Therefore, we do recommend consumers to start thinking about bigger TVs, such as LED TV 40 inch and above during this World Cup season. As our gratitude to consumers, we’ve already prepared exciting programs and prizes for them,” Agus Soewadjie, assistant general manager marketing communication Sharp Electronics Indonesia, said.Participating hyperstores include five Hypermart stores and 15 Giant stores, while other 15 distributors are Login store in Bandung, Takrib and Atlanta store in Jogjakarta, Global store in Semarang, Candi Elektronik store in Solo, Alaska store in Makassar, Hartono Bukit Darmo in Surabaya, Hartono di Malang, UFO in  Surabaya, Nuansa in Samarinda, Pondok Elektronik in Banjarmasin, Surga Elektronik in Batam, Seven Elektronik in BSD, SJS Plaza in Padang, and UFO in Denpasar.
