



SGInnovate picks media performance agency

Deep tech company SGInnovate has named digital consultancy MINISTRY as its media performance agency. The appointment is slated for 15 months from January 2024, it said.
MINISTRY will develop and execute a comprehensive media strategy aligned with SGInnovate's mission of nurturing deep tech startups and talent. Central to the agency's role will be the implementation of targeted media campaigns and analysing campaign performance, aimed at boosting brand visibility and enhancing lead generation.

“MINISTRY’s robust data-driven approach and media strategy stood out during the selection process. This expertise is crucial as SGInnovate continues expanding its range of programmes and initiatives to catalyse talent growth at all levels, across the deep tech ecosystem," said Ken Ling, deputy director of community-marketing at SGInnovate.
Adding to his point, Kelvin Koo, managing partner at MINISTRY said: “We are thrilled to collaborate with SGInnovate in its mission to reach, engage and nurture the deep tech ecosystem and community in Singapore. We are confident our approach in combining compelling creative storytelling with a targeted media strategy will allow us to fulfil SGInnovate’s objectives and KPIs.”
SGInnovate believes that deep tech, which is based on scientific research, has the power to change lives. The world has hard problems to solve and "hard tech" answers are needed. Yet, the path that takes deep tech solutions from lab to market is never easy. SGInnovate's mission is to help entrepreneurial scientists build and scale successful startups.
While deep tech is slowly gaining ground, it is but the start of a long journey. According to SGInnovate, more work needs to be done to move the needle on a broader scale and encourage more people to take the road less travelled – as investors, entrepreneurial scientists, ecosystem supporters, and talent, among others.
