The Seven Network has expanded its free streaming offering with the launch of Below Deck Vault, a new free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel dedicated to the reality franchise.

The channel joins Seven’s growing slate of FAST offerings on 7plus and was created in partnership with NBCUniversal, the global media company behind the Below Deck franchise. The move expands Seven’s presence in the local FAST market, where it now offers over 50 curated channels.

Below Deck Vault will feature seasons from Below Deck, Below Deck Mediterranean, Below Deck Sailing Yacht and Below Deck Down Under, offering fans a 24/7 stream of episodes drawn from the franchise’s global catalogue.

“NBCUniversal is one of our most valued and important partners,” said Richard Henson, Director of Distribution & Content Partnerships at Seven. “Below Deck Vault is a great addition that super-serves our 7plus audience and extends our growing FAST strategy.”

April was a record month for 7plus FAST performance, with 206 million minutes streamed, a 66% year-on-year increase and more than 2.5 times higher than Seven’s closest commercial rival, according to Seven. The most-watched genres were documentaries, reality, sport and scripted drama.

Seven said more channel launches are on the way, alongside continued growth in 7plus Sport, including live AFL and cricket.

The launch of Below Deck Vault follows Seven’s broader content and distribution strategy, which includes its 7Bravo channel, premium drama series, and thousands of hours of on-demand content from NBCUniversal.
