Science Centre Singapore has appointed OMD Singapore as its media agency partner. According to Gebiz, the appointment is for a period of two years from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2019.
The account is worth SG$1,323,000 and follows a three-way pitch which saw agencies such as Amobee and Vizeum Singapore vying for the account. The pitch was first launched in January this year.
Currently, the organisation is also on the look out for a social media agency for a period of one year from 1 April 2017 to 31 March 2018. A total of 11 agencies have been vying for the account so far including CPXI Singapore, Dstnct, Golin, Happy Marketer, Hashtag Interactive, IClick Media, IPG Mediabrands, OMD Singapore, Pinheads Interactive, Vintedge and WS Group.
Separately, Science Centre Singapore appointed IPG Mediabrands as its social media agency partner for its KidSTOP division. The appointment is for a period of two years and will see the agency taking charge of the board’s social media platforms, according to IPG Mediabrands.
